Since its inception in 2001, Impact 100 has given over $1,600,000 to Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky non-profits. Our 2009 membership total was 206 members, which means we were able to give two grants of $103,000 each. Culture - The Culture Committee will focus on charitable initiatives that cultivate, develop, educate and improve the cultural climate in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Past nominees include Visionaries and Voices, Media Bridges, the Touchstone Project, Elementz, and ArtWorks.
Environment, Preservation, & Recreation - The Environment, Preservation and Recreation Committee will focus on charitable initiatives that perserve, enhance, revitalize or restore facilities and surroundings in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Past nominees include the the Work Resource Center, Nu-Blend Paints, Community Views Renter Equity (a joint project of Over-the-Rhine Housing Network and Cornerstone Community Loan Fund), Working in Neighborhoods, Greater Cincinnati Civic Garden Center, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati.
Education - The Education Committee will focus on charitable initiatives that further the ability to educate and improve education in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Past nominees include Beech Acres, the Urban Learning Center, W.E.B. DuBois Academy, Project Connect Homeless Children's Fund, Economic Center for Education & Research, and IKRON.
Health & Wellness - The Health & Wellness Committee will focus on charitable initiatives that positively impact the mental or physical health and wellness of the people in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Past nominees include Greater Cincinnati Oral Health Council (McMicken Dental Clinic), Tender Mercies, Redwood School and Rehabilitation Center, Genesis Men's Program, the Cincinnati Health Network, LifeCenter Organ Donor Network, and the Council on Aging.
Family - The Family Committee will focus on charitable initiatives that strengthen and enhance the lives of children and families in Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky. Past nominees include Lighthouse Youth Services, Cincinnati Cooks!, The Women's Connection, The Children's Home of Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati Works, FreeStore/FoodBank and Dress for Success Cincinnati.
