We’re off to a great start!
As we enter March, Impact 100 members have hit the ground running with Letter of Intent (LOI) reviews, educational opportunities, planning for our future, and ways to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
Focus Area Committee (FAC) members wrapped up their LOI reviews and have issued invitations for grant applications due March 19.  In mid-March, FAC and all members will have the opportunity to learn more about using an equity lens for grantmaking through Open Houses hosted by the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Education committee.  These Open Houses are a complement to the presentations held for each FAC during the LOI review.  You can view a recording and/or the power point of the presentation in the Members Only section under FAC Training Materials.
In early February, board members gathered via zoom for a ½ day retreat of team building and strategic planning.  It was a great opportunity to make connections, reflect on 2020 and plan for the next 3-5 years.  The framework board members are using for our strategic plan is OGSMP (Objective, Goals, Strategies, Measures and Plans).  Clusters will begin refining and defining each of their goals, strategies to achieve the goal, measures for each goal and the plans for each goal.  As a Board, we have agreed our objective is Increase Impact 100’s impact on our community by evolving to be more equitable, inclusive, collaborative, innovative and sustainable.  Please stay tuned, as we continue to share the complete strategic plan in the coming months.
Impact 100 was a novel idea for our community 20 years ago—women donors pooling their funds to make transformational grants.  In celebration of our 20th anniversary, Impact 100 will be inviting nonprofit organizations to apply for small grants to address a current community need with an innovative, creative, and collaborative approach.  Board members approved the idea at the February 17 meeting. Specifics related to process, eligibility and amounts will be announced in the Spring.
