Project Description
Project:
Constructing a Pathway To Careers
Grant Award:
$101,500
Cincinnati Construction Foundation’s mission is to expand opportunities for ACI Members to be stronger construction companies by: Advocacy, Education, Networking and Safety. The Impact 100 grant funded the expansion of the Woodward Career Technical High School program by developing & implementing a practical, application-based math program in the middle schools to increase eligible placement of students into the high school program which prepares them to enter the construction trade.
Outcomes include increasing mathematics achievement through curricular integration of mathematics and construction skill standards in 7th through 9th-grades. The program expansion will also increase access to hands-on career experiences.
