Through an interactive workshop and museum tour, you will…

  1. Learn that we all have character strengths we can call on to be upstanders in our community.
  2. Understand how the lessons of the Holocaust can inspire us to action in the present.
  3. Reflect on how we can apply character strengths and upstander behavior to our lives. Upstanders are people who stand up for themselves and others. They harness their character strengths to meet their moment and pursue justice, both great and small, inspiring others to do the same.

“Education has the power to transform, and the work of the Holocaust & Humanity Center ensures that history’s lessons are not just remembered but actively shape a more just and compassionate future,” says Andi Saylor, Impact 100 Board Member and coordinator for the educational event. “This program challenges us to reflect, learn and commit to being upstanders in our communities.”

Before attending the program, participants will receive a link to take the 10-minute VIA Character Strengths online survey to help discover their greatest strengths.

Cost: $25 until April 13. Late Registration fee: $35.Register by April 25. Light bites and soft drinks will be provided.

Parking is $6 per car. Limit 100 attendees.
