As the largest women’s collective giving organization in the area, in 2024, we will continue to dramatically improve lives by collectively funding transformational grants that make a lasting impact. Thanks to you, we have awarded nearly $7 million in grants over the past 22 years. Well done!
The beginning of a new year is always a good opportunity to step back and assess how we’re doing. Are we making transformational impact? How can we improve? What will enhance our impact? How can we improve our member experience? What can we learn from other giving circles? We are hearing more about trust-based philanthropy and the inherent imbalance of power between grantors and recipients. How should we adjust to be good partners with our nonprofit applicants and recipients?
These are just a few questions we will be asking this year as we look toward a future where Impact 100 is a significant catalyst for creating an equitable thriving community for all. We need to hear your voice and that of all members. While these are serious questions, I am looking forward to tackling them with lively discussion, new relationships, social opportunities and the kind of fun only a great group of accomplished women can enjoy!
