Why is member Deanna Hillard smiling? Because as an Impact 100 member, she is connected with amazing women that are working to make Cincinnati equitable for all.

  1. Tell us a little about yourself personally and professionally.
Born and raised in Cincy. I currently work at Interact for Health as a Program Officer on the School-Based Health Center arm of funding. Before my time at Interact, I worked at the National MS Society, Girl Scouts of Western OH, and served as an AmeriCorps member with Public Allies Cincinnati. When not volunteering with Impact 100 as the Nonprofit Outreach Chair, I serve as the Leadership Development Chair for the Junior League of Cincinnati. I’m also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. In my spare time, I love to travel, experience Cincy’s arts scene, try new restaurants, and enjoy being the best auntie to my nephews.

2. What excites you about being an Impact 100 member?
Impact 100 allows me to put my money where my mouth is. Impact 100 provides me the opportunity to give back to the city that I love with my dollars. I want our community to be equitable for all and a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, but the reality we face is disparities need to be addressed to make that happen. Impact allows me to support organizations working to eliminate those disparities. It also doesn’t hurt to be connected to amazing women in the city who have the same desires.

 3. Would you provide a brief description of your favorite Impact 100 moment or experience?
I always enjoy connecting with the YP (Young Professionals) scholars. I was able to join Impact through the YP program, and it’s always an enjoyable experience to connect with like-minded individuals.
