You are invited to two upcoming events sponsored by the Justice Ministry at Hyde Park Community UMC. The first event, Just Des(s)erts, will be held on Monday, October 7 from 7:00 to 8:30p.m., and will feature Sherman Bradley (the featured speaker at our Impact 100 Education Event last April) to explore questions about our own social and cultural competence..  The program will be held in the Little Theater at HPCUMC (Observatory and Grace in Hyde Park). Coffee, dessert and conversation provided.  No registration required.

The second event on Saturday, October 26 from 9-12 will be a more in-depth, interactive workshop. Also led by Sherman Bradley, this workshop will help look at the hard work required to uncover and address the blind spots of subconscious bias.  Registration will be required for the October 26 workshop only

If you are interested, please contact Kathy Thornton (EDUCATIONFAC@impact100.org) for registration information which will be available soon.
