- Wave Pool Gallery Art Class-A big thank you to Cal Cullen, Executive Director of WavePool Gallery for offering a hand building class with artist, Diane Fishbein. What a treat it was to make a turtle out of a lump of clay!
- Fernbank Park Hike-A big thank you to Impact member extraordinaire, Susan Cranley, for hosting the hike and delicious picnic lunch that followed. Thank you also to Great Park Naturalist, Luke Thie, for sharing his knowledge of trees, plantlike and bird identification. A big thank you to Kasey Jo Trbovich, of New Life Furniture, for sharing an update of the organization and the exciting opening of the New Life Thrift Store. - Spread the Word Riverside-Thank you to Sue Schmidt for sharing her lovely home and hosting an evening of delicious fare, great conversation and spectacular river views! Thank you to Rob Seideman, of May We Help, for giving us insight into the important work of they do to help individuals to achieve independence through adaptive equipment.
