Submit Young Philanthropist Applications Now Through October 13, 2024

The Charlotte R. Schmidlapp Young Philanthropist Scholarship, established in 2014, is designed for young women, ages 18 to 40, who have an interest in philanthropy and might initially be unable to pay membership dues of $500 or $1,000 annually. The three-year scholarship supplements the recipients’ membership commitment and encourages participants to experience women’s collective giving.

Year 1: Scholarship pays $375 and Young Philanthropist contributes $125

Year 2: Scholarship pays $250 and Young Philanthropist contributes $250

Year 3: Scholarship pays $125 and Young Philanthropist contributes $375

By year 4, the aim is to have the Young Philanthropist become a member who pays $500 (half membership) or $1,000 (full membership).

Young Philanthropists are expected to be active participants in Impact 100 events and to serve on a committee. Learn more about criteria for applicants.

Every year, Impact 100 raises funds to support four to five new Young Philanthropists.
