One of our core values is to provide philanthropic education to our members. We would be remiss in delivering on our values if we did not update our members on resources & responses to the COVID-19 pandemic within our community.
COVID-19 Regional Response Fund
Greater Cincinnati Foundation and United Way partnered have created the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund to provide support for local nonprofit organizations, both large and community-based, addressing:
- Food insecurity
- Housing and shelter
- Medical response
- Childcare & Eldercare
To inspire our community to step forward at this time of need, an anonymous donor has generously provided a $250,000, 1:1 match for credit card and check donations. No gift is too small. Funds for most pressing needs will be distributed throughout the Greater Cincinnati Region: Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont and Brown counties in Ohio; Kenton, Campbell, Boone, and Grant counties in Kentucky; Dearborn and Ohio counties in Indiana.
Horizon NKY Coronavirus Relief Fund
Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky has launched a fund to support Northern Kentuckians facing increased crises or needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Relief Fund will provide flexible financial assistance to nonprofits serving Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky that are experiencing increased demand for resources in response to the COVID-19 virus in our community.
