Tell us about yourself personally and professionally:

I was born here and grew up in Cincinnati. After graduating from Seton High School, I attended Xavier University and majored in accounting. I graduated in 1985 and worked as a CPA. Professionally, I worked for Grant Thornton and JD Cloud and Company before retiring. After my first daughter was born, I was self-employed and worked in accounting part time until we moved to Indianapolis in 1994. In 2006 we moved to Leawood Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City). I moved back home to Cincinnati in 2020.

I have four children, two daughters who live in Chicago, and a son in Cincinnati. My youngest son is a Lieutenant in the US Army.

I like to spend my free time volunteering. I served as treasurer for parent organizations at the schools my children attended and enjoy volunteering at food pantries.

I also love to hike and travel. I just returned from walking 215 kilometers on the El Camino de Santiago in Spain with fellow impact member Patty Diersing.

Could you provide a brief description of your favorite Impact 100 moment or experience?

I joined Impact 100 in 2021. I have enjoyed meeting the women in the organization and have learned so much about many of the nonprofit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area.
