Member Spotlight: YOU! Our Members

We have a broad range of ages, ethnic backgrounds, career paths, family responsibilities and personal interests. What binds us all together is the desire to connect and to help our community thrive.

Our giving circle is full of smart, caring, curious and accomplished women. Together, we are a force, helping to fund the changes we want to see in our world.

We respect the diverse ways members choose to participate and the skills they bring:

  • Board members devoting many hours a month to guide our organization
  • New members experiencing their first Grant Review Team experience
  • Young members gaining their first hands-on understanding of philanthropy
  • Members who have moved away from Cincinnati but who are still contributing to the cause
  • Past Board members who have served us well and continue to attend our events and serve on committees
  • Members whose busy lives don’t afford a great deal of free time but who join because they know their financial contribution is critical to our collective giving

It seems improbable that more than 400 women of varied backgrounds, opinions and experiences could find a way to choose four grant projects from the 100+ ideas submitted to us in 2025. But we did it, with our time, talent, treasure, testimony and ties!

The ability to change, adapt and improve on what has been done before are hallmarks of this group. By asking and listening to what members and nonprofit partners are saying, we continue to grow and strengthen. This past year, our Annual Awards Celebration underwent some changes to make the night a more joyful experience for all. Four of the finalists received $100,000 grants. The other two finalists received $10,000 each to recognize their efforts. All finalists knew before the event which award they were receiving.

For so many of us, Impact 100 has enlarged our life experience, deepened our understanding of philanthropy, introduced us to amazing women, and broadened our opportunities to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

At its core, our organization was built on the premise that we are more impactful together. But it takes each of us individually to build our giving circle. We look forward to having you with us in the exciting year ahead!

As we head toward our 25th anniversary, we welcome your ideas and suggestions, which you can send to Membership@Impact100.org.
