Incarcerated women often face harsher punishments, fewer resources, and deeper trauma than their male counterparts—yet their stories remain overlooked in the criminal justice system.
In 2024, the Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC) received a $10,000 Extend Your Impact award from Impact 100. This funding helped OJPC expand its outreach to women’s correctional facilities, provide legal education workshops, and grow its network of legal support throughout Ohio.
Led by CEO Gabe Davis, a Cincinnati native with a national civil rights law background, OJPC fights for fairness and redemption. The team advocates for wrongly or excessively incarcerated individuals, supports parole hearings, expunges records, and restores basic human rights—from housing and employment to parental rights and healthcare.
See how Impact 100’s investment in bold, transformative projects promotes thriving communities throughout the Greater Cincinnati region.
